WHAT I AM DESIGNING?

The brief was to design a responsive website and create a brand for Voskins eyewear. Located in a classy spot of Montreal the brand had to represent and translate that aspect visually.

WHO I AM DESIGNING FOR?

The owner of Voskins is a young and trendy optometrist in Montreal. He wants clean and minimal design, with a raw material aspect to it. The "industrial" touch the design was also something important. The people who come in this store to buy glasses want to stand out from the rest with their attention to detail and style, and a "vintage touch".

HOW AM I DESIGNING IT?

I had to make the website look very corporate to go with the launch of the shop. The client asked that I implement the following elements to the site: Philosophy, Contact section, About section in which we introduce the owner of the shop and the different services they offer.

goal:

The main goal of this site and the brand is to give the craft feeling which represents Voskins. It was also really important to put the emphasis on the eye-wear service more then the optometrist service. The optometrist service should still be present, just not the main focus, they wanted to sell the products more then offering services.
